Resolved Question: How can I convince my parents to let me dorm in college?

hi, well im a senior and want to go to Montclair State University in NJ. The school is about 45 mins away from my house, and my parents think I can drive there everyday. And I try to explain to them that some classes get out at like 10:00 at night and i would be coming home at like 11:00 everyday, and its just a waste of time and money, but they just dont listen. Im not stupid,I know that my parents will be paying a ton of money, and spending my time partying isnt going to help anyone. Those are not my plans at all. So how can I convince them to let me dorm?? I want to go to Medical school, so im going to need a really high GPA if thats going to happen. I really like the school, and think I will do much better If I can just live there. My mom is about 50/50 and my dad is not for it at all. My mom says I wouldnt last, she thinks Im a baby. And my dad just thinks Im going to party all night. How do I change their mind??
